FUN IN THE SUN

We scored some amazing waves on a recent trip to the Algave - perfect shorebreaks to test our some new board templates and plywood that we've been experimenting with! The new shorter bellyboard went really well in the steeper surf.... more to come in 2022.

I love travelling with a bellyboard and pair of swim fins. If your heading away on a surf trip then slip a bellyboard into your board bag - It opens up a new world of waves that aren't 'surfable' on a traditional surfboard. The high tide shore breaks we bellyboarded in Portugal were absolutely ideal - and with minimal crowd when breaking that close to the beach.

It was also great to road test our new Rooted Ocean bag collection - the Rucksack, Bellybag and Beach Bag were ideal for hauling all the wetsuits/children/toys/boards down the steep steps to the beach.
