I recently learnt that a Scotsman discovered surfing whilst on holiday in Cornwall, once he had a taste for our Cornish slabs he went on the hunt in his own rugged rimy seas for a similar slice of natures intoxicating adrenalin free ride. How pleasantly surprised he was, as he discovered his boundless northern landscape was rich in shapely reef breaks that today draw in many of us Cornish folk in search of unridden secret spots away from the crowds.

A team of surfers from Wavelength Magazine ventured to the land of the brave to do just that and took with them a quiver of vessels to truly test the waters. Amongst those were a couple of our Bellyboards and we couldn’t be more stoked to share the fruits of their venture;

Photographer and editor at Wavelength Luke Gartside has written a full blog on their trip which you can read here. We owe a big thanks to him for capturing and sharing his shots with us, there’s even a film of the trip which we’ve linked below.

We know where our next trip is going to be - See you in the highlands!
